A: On the Ground
A1 Strict observance of the frequency is required. DO NOT TURN ON YOUR TRANSMITTER UNLESS YOU HAVE THE FREQUENCY.
A2 Taxiing into or out of the pit area is not allowed.
A3 No taking off from pit area.
A4a The pilot station is the area marked with cement squares placed twenty (20) feet apart. This spacing is the recommended distance to cut down on 3rd order intermodulation (radio interference).
A4b There are two additional pilot stations dedicated for the exclusive use of helicopters, one on either side of the pilot stations. All helicopters are to be flown from theses pilot stations.
A5 No more than one tank full of flying time is allowed for any one flyer on a specific frequency if another flyer is waiting for the frequency. (15 minutes)
A6 No animals are permitted in the pit area or on the flying field. They must be restrained outside the pit area.
A7 There will be no engine running or repairing of aircraft outside the pit area. All flight boxes and aircraft will be kept inside the pit area.
A8 No running of internal combustion type engines before 9:00 AM. No day is exempted.
A9 No extended engine running in the pit area (more than (2) minutes).
A10 All aircraft must meet 95dB at 9 feet be tested and have a gold sticker attached to the airplane.
A11 Between Memorial Day and Labor Day gas powered aircraft flying times are Monday to Friday 9AM to 6PM, Saturday and Sunday 9 AM to 6:30 PM.
A12 No more than six (6) frequencies are to be in use at the flying field at any given time. This includes helicopters.
